De-clutter and Help Deployed Soldiers on November 10th!

Posted on October 17th, 2012 by LtCmdrScotchy

How many times are you really going to play Assassin’s Creed 1 or God of War?

Operation: Supply drop will take your used video games and ship them directly to U.S. soldiers deployed abroad and has cleared $60,000 in donations since 2010 which is amazingly cool!

We all know how a little bit of time playing an interesting video game can de-stress after a long day…well our guys and gals in the armed forces have REALLY long days.

From fronttowardsgamer.com, ”Operation Supply Drop, in conjunction with a team of dedicated allied websites and supporters, is throwing a nationwide Veteran’s Day weekend party on November 10th with events in Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, and New York City with two more cities currently in the works to join forces to raise money to build a series of absurdly large video game care packages for multiple units stationed in Afghanistan…as well as a possible stateside surprise or two.”

Why not clean up your game collection, pick a few titles you’ve played a billion times and ship them to:

Operation Supply Drop
9301 Alvyn Lake Circle
Bristow, VA 20136

If you’ve got any questions you can hit them up on their site.  Along with a ton of heavyweight corporate sponsors it’s also TAX DEDUCTIBLE, so go for it…it’s a win, win, win deal!
